Visit Disneyland to rediscover fun, magic, and adventure

Anaheim is one of the most visited cities in America, thanks to the very famous Disneyland Park and Entertainment hub it is a home to. For the last 50 years or so, people have been visiting the city just to enjoy this happiest place on earth. Young and old, big and small are coming all the way over to get their pictures clicked with a famous mouse named Mickey and spend some time soaking in the romance and fantasy of it all. 

Did you know that the Disneyland Park was officially opened on July 17th 1955? The opening day was not all that spectacular, with only 28,000 guests showing up from the 6000 odd ones who were invited. There were many instances of rides breaking down, streets jamming up, and shoes getting stuck to the still-soft concrete.

However, all that is now ancient history. The staff and people at the Walt Disney Company have been working really hard to make Disneyland one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southern California today.  Every year, anywhere between 14 to 22 million people visit the place, making it the second most visited theme parks worldwide.

This love affair of the globe trotter with Disneyland seems to grow with each passing year. The company on its part is also continually upgrading rides and creating more avenues for fun.

Stroll down the Main Street, which is the entrance to Disneyland Park, and enjoy the old-time Victorian feel of a bygone era. Visit Fantasyland to meet all the heroes and villains of your favorite stories. Take a wacky taxi in Mickey’s Toontown to get the ride of your life. Visit the houses of Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney characters.  Enjoy some of the most out of the world rides and games like Autopia, Disneyland Monorail, or the Starcade.
